Territory Sales Specialist

Metalcraft is a 72-year old employee-owned company that operates as a start-up. Headquartered in Mason City, Iowa, we are seeking a motivated, energetic, and focused outside sales professional to grow and represent us in California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, Canada.

The Territory Sales Specialist responsibilities include presenting our products and services to potential and current clients, identifying specific consumer characteristics, and recommending ways to promote and sell our products.

Our sales team has consistently fueled the double-digit growth of Metalcraft by developing a strong understanding of their customers, taking great pride in the products and solutions they are selling, and partnering inside and out to ensure we meet our commitments to customers. You can sell across many verticals with our products, you are not locked selling to one industry.

What we are looking for:

  • 3 years successful outside sales experience selling B2B. We want to see candidates that knock on doors, make cold calls, and show growth within their territory. You will have existing clients to call on but want to see a history of successful growth with new businesses as well.
  • Experience in longer sales cycles, you have sold products or services where the sales funnel and cycle can take time. You have organization, patience, and persistence in growing and working through a sales funnel.
  • Self-motivated, can-do positive attitude. Passion for competition and winning business. You enjoy the thrill of finding the next opportunity!
  • You want to get better, do better: Consultative selling skills, superior organization, pride in preparation, and time management skills, this position is going to have a blend of cold calling, prospecting for new business as well as working with existing business.
  • We prefer our Sales Rep to live in California, however we will consider candidates from any part of the territory, (California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia) and be able to travel to all parts of the territory as 30%-50% overnight as needed.
  • Process and utilize your technology skills (Salesforce, MS Office, Outlook, CRM systems).
  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
